June 28 ('04) - Football coaches revised 2004 schedule to make way for the 2004 North-South Classic. The Classic is an exhibition series that all teams participate in to raise the profile of the league and raise funds for league operations. The highlight of the event is a skills competition that is hosted between games two and three of event.

April 30 (Blind River) - We're in!! Aftrer a ten year absence, NOSSA delegates unanimously accept Sudbury as participant in 2004 NOSSA Football. The Sudbury delegate will travel to Sault Ste. Marie on November 6th to play the Soo representative, with the winner hosting the NOSSA Final versus North Bay. The NOSSA Champ will travel to the Central Bowl Championship to be hosted at Ivor Wynne on November 20th.

Oct 10 ('03) - The Bears from St Benedict and the Vikings from Lockerby tangle in a cloud of dust as the two teams tangle at Lily Creek. The Vikings prevailed in this one in a squeeker, 14 to 7, to improve their record to 3-1 as of Oct 10th.

Aug 25 ('03) - SDSSAA's newest Varsity Football entry, the Sudbury Secondary School North Stars, take to the field for a first conditioning session at the SSS field. Seen overseeing the action is head coach Dave St Amour and assistant coach Stewart Moggy. The North Stars will see their first league action during the North/South Classic on September 13th at Cambrian College.

Aug 26 ('03) - The SDSSAA Varsity Football schedule is revised one last time at the 2003 pre season coaches' meeting. Action will begin on Saturday, September 13th at Cambrian College with the annual North-South Classic, a series of mini games featuring all teams in the league.
